Here a a few pictures from the walk.
This first is of my daughter Nikki and grand daughter Sydney, who is turning two today.
This second is a group shot of daughter Stephanie, d-i-l Kayla (though she is more a daughter!), Sydney, Nikki, me, and if you look in the stroller, you'll see little Sloan's head popping out.
The third is of Kayla, Sydney, Nikki, and Sloan.
The walk was a real blessing to all of us, and even though it poured almost the whole time, nothing could stop the walkers!Next year, I'll be more prepared...I hope to make a quilt and some cross stitch items to sell and raffle off.

ReplyDeleteYes, it is - it is so sad to see my mom like this - but she has a very good attitude about it all.
DeleteSydney is very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much - she is a sweetie!
DeleteA lovely family, and a worthy cause to come together!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteYou have a beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I think so too but I am a bit prejudice!
DeleteWhat a great cause and how wonderful you walked together as a family. I lost my grandfather and my dad to dementia. Mom is now in a nursing home with dementia. I hate falling down that same rabbit hole again. Thanks for your efforts to end this awful enemy!!
ReplyDeleteI understand Sharon, and since Alzheimer's is known to be passed on genetically, we need to be more aware of it!
DeleteCongrats on doing so well! What a great family moment and photo. :)
